The Waterproof Breathable Membrane (breathable paper) is a new type of high-molecular waterproof material. In terms of manufacturing process, the technical requirements for breathable Waterproof Membranes are significantly higher than those for conventional waterproof materials. Additionally, in terms of quality, breathable waterproof membranes possess functional characteristics that other waterproof materials lack. The waterproof breathable membrane primarily consists of three layers: PP spunbond non-woven fabric, PE high-molecular breathable film, and PP spunbond non-woven fabric. The main function of the spunbond non-woven fabric is to enhance tensile strength and hydrostatic pressure while protecting the middle layer (breathable film). The actual breathability is achieved through the PE high-molecular breathable film in the middle layer.

It is mainly used in the construction field for steel and wooden structures such as concrete, masonry walls, steel and wood, mainly applied in waterproofing engineering of building roofs and walls.
Waterproof breathable membrane can be used for waterproofing and gas permeability in structures such as concrete, masonry walls, steel and wood, tile roofs, and steel structure roofs. The product is laid on top of the insulation layer of building roofs or walls, utilizing its waterproof and breathable characteristics. On the one hand, it can protect the insulation material from external moisture invasion to the greatest extent possible, and on the other hand, it can effectively ensure the moisture inside the enclosure structure is discharged, thereby ensuring the insulation layer and building structure for a long time, achieving energy saving, improving building durability, and ensuring indoor air quality.
